I went to some terrible international Sumo wrestling at MSG. If that could fill half the place I'm pretty sure that the UFC could fill the joint.

They could probably sell out the OK State Fair Arena ... and plus, maybe Atkins would show his face there [he'd probably be incognito though .. maybe dressed up as one of DSE's management .. only in drag.
UFC at MSG would be the $hit
Now that Ratner is working for the UFC, look for the MMA ban in NY to be lifted. During his tenure as the head of the Nev State Athletic Commission, he had a working relationship with the NY state commission. NY state and Nevada respected each others bans on fighters, shared many of the same rules and sat together on the council of the ABC (Association of Boxing Commissions). Ratner has some pull in many commissions in the US, NY being one of them.
As far as MMA in Madison Square Garden, it would be HUGE. MSG would jump at the chance and I think it would be a hot ticket. But MSG most likely wouldn't accept a half-assed card. MSG is all about its history, so the UFC would need a HISTORIC fight of some kind for its debut. An event along the lines of Ali-Frazier I or Wrestlemania I.
