First.

RobMcKenzie - First.

Congrats! You win a baby sandwich!

I dont understand how Omigawa wasnt the comeback fighter of the year, I guess its because a lot dont watch Sengoku.

Something tells me this thread will ultimately deliver in an epic fashion. Grabs popcorn, Dr. Pepper, all that...

Heartbroken Lee - Bisping-Kang should have been shortlisted for Come From Behind Victory of the Year!!!

the only thing Bisping should get an award for is best at being scraped off the canvas

What's the best way to prepare a baby sandwhich?

Still wiggling?

Freshly killed like sushi?

Roasted?

Congrats to Crooklyn and Tapout Radio!

 Thank you! :-)

Great to see that Jose Aldo won fighter of the year, he deserved it and IMO is a strong candidate to repeat in 2010. If he beats Faber and then knocks off Brown for a second time, he's got to be the clear frontrunner once again.

lol at that peice of shit Super Hulk tourney winning

Zamiel - I can't believe you guys voted Sanchez-Guida over Fedor-Rogers.

Well maybe you should get off Fedor's balls then

In on the first page, most of these I agree with.

who won last year?

Congratulations Igor!!!!  & Congrats to all the winners

seriously Sanchez-Guida... other than fast paced, the only thing I remember of that fight was how Sanchez' sloppy striking was slightly better than Guida's sloppy striking. I love Guida tho, don't get me wrong. I woulda gave it to Henderson-Cerrone, or Melendez-Thompson imo.

I'm not sure what the man of the year criteria are, but I don't think Dana should get it. I think the award should go to someone who accomplished alot, but also, accomplished more than was expected. I would say Scott Coker is the clear choice for that award. He essential developed a major UFC competitor last year and managed to get Fedor to fight on a mainstream media card for free in the USA: IMPRESSIVE! Dana and the UFC always deliver but did they deliver any more than was expected? Sure they put on UFC 100, and sure Dana is everywhere, but they had those things coming for years and none of it is a big surprise. Furthermore, UFC has kinda disapointed this year: Shogun vs Machida and judging controversy, 10000000000 injuries, TUF 10 w/ Kimbo and no Page/Suga. Lots of that isn't their fault but they didn't have the best year. I think Scott Coker and Strikeforce definitely had the bigger year and definitely delivered more to MMA fans, and more than anyone expected.

Here come the less than 100 post count ban-hammered tards.

Big thanks from everyone on the Underground for voting MMAWeekly.com the News Site of the Year for the 2nd year in a row!

Most of you know that Ryan Bennett was our founder and leader, and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be in this business, so to see our hard work paying off and carrying on his legacy really does make me proud.

Thanks to all the UG'ers!!!!!
