What are your thoughts on this fight? The UFN in April should be a regular UFC event. Im trying but to make predictions on this card but its is tough to call...
I think Alves is going to pull it off.
I'm very intrigued with this card...I like Karo, but I think Alves is a bad matchup for him...
good on the ground and has explosive standup. If this fight turns in to a track meet I think Alves has the edge.
I think Alves wins and takes away Karo's title shot, and Karo kicks himself in the nads for ducking Fitch and not fighting him for a true number 1 contender fight.

If Karo fights like he did against Burkman he'll lose. He better go in there looking and thinking finish.
Alves will win for sure, his kicks are so wicked, karo doesnt want to finish fights, look at the chonan fight. Top welterweight would have finished that fight for sure like jon fitch.
I really hope Alves wins...Karo said something in a recent interview about taking a "safe" fight next instead of a killer and said it'd be a guy like Davis or Alves. I hope Karo looks past him and gets kicked in the head.

karo has fought the best in the likes of gsp, and beaten diaz, thompson, chonan, burkman, serra and also lytle.

Karo is one of those amazingly talented fighters who will show up not in top condition at times; if he makes that mistake The Heat will lose. Karo totally prepared and in top condition I believe wins this one..

I have to agree with KC on this and if he doesn't train hard to win this fight he'll lose. Coming in in less than top shape will never win him the WW title (although I'm not sure he ever beats GSP even in top shape).
Either way I'm expecting a great fight but I'm leaning towards Karo at this point, probably by decisions similar to what he did vs. Ryo.
