It's sad when people lose the light in their eyes. She got everything she dreamed of. She was champion of the world. And when she got there, she realized she's still just a person, walking around like everyone else, working, eating, sleeping, repeat. There was no Wizard of Oz moment where the world suddenly becomes colorful. It was all the same. And she realized, there's nothing to look forward to, nothing to live for. She had it all and it really wasn't that great.
Now she's stuck. 28 years old, uneducated, no real job skills. Just the ability to punch and kick. So now she must fight. There is no choice. Fight until your body gives out, because the only thing waiting for you after you're washed up are menial jobs. What does her life look like at 43? Manager at Dollar General, really hoping that 17 year old prick shows up for his shift or else she has to pull a double and cover it. She's miserable now because she knows misery is her destiny.

I played football through college, inside LB so have had a lot of collisions. Trained mma, boxing KB, etc for 15 years and counting, did 1 mma fight. I’ve noticed the past couple of years my anxiety is getting a lot worse. Actually working from home remotely has been the best thing for my mental status/anxiety in years. Luckily i don’t really get depressed that often. I contacted Boston University as they’re doing CTE studies to see if i can be evaluated.
