truth is PVZ should be getting paid way more than Tim ever did and that fact will piss off a lot of people but it's the truth

Tim tried hard, have to respect that but never seemed To have that fighting spirit of a born fighter, more a athlete who chose uFc as a sport, was never really willing to go that extra step like the real warriors of uFc the bisping and the Diaz who put their body on the line time after time, willing to die out there, Tim more a family man which is no bad thing but garbage men probably more suited to his mindset.

I think they should get paid more but it's all business in the UFC.  You want more money you gotta bring something to the table.

Pvz says she would of made more in a normal job...what normal job? Fucking walmart? Call center? Subway? Even if some how it is true I would rather be doing  some thing I love and have passion for than being stuck in some lame ass "normal job".

Fighting is not easy and you window is small, they must try and maximize every opportunity they get.  Like I said I'm all for more pay but crying isn't gonna get for you go out there a take it.

Considering that Paige never fights, that's neither surprising nor concerning.

She never fights DUE to this reality of the pay being low.

She makes more money with all the MAGAfolks spamming F5 on her Instagram page.

You can't fight once a year, then complain that it doesn't pay well enough. Fight more, advance in rankings, make more money.

Your ordering is wrong. She stopped fighting due to the pay.

Order is: She was underpaid when she was active, then she stopped fighting, now makes more money via people looking at her feet on Instagram, and only now is she complaining (probably on behalf of other fighters to spread the word).

She stopped fighting because she lost interest and always just wanted to be a celebrity of some sort.

She clearly stopped putting in the work, stopped improving and even regressed.

The writing has been on the wall for a few years now, she isn’t Going to be able to compete with top 10 fighters

12% for nutrition.

I dont get this. So you spend a lot on food and complain about it? We all should deduct food expensives when asking our boss for a raise I guess.

All of you guys are forgetting that she literally broke her arm in early 2018, took a year off, fought early 2019 after recovering, broke her arm again, thought it was healing, then had to get surgery. She was supposed to fight in March but couldn’t because she fractured her arm AGAIN. She recovered and is fighting again. Are you guys purposely leaving this out in every thread concerning PVZ, or just not taking the time to make a quick google search?

That number stood out to me more than anything else

You want to eat healthy and take supplements, fine, but pay for that shit yourself just like anyone else.

Is the UFC responsible for your overspending on clothes too? Champagne taste on a beer budget. C’mon.

No, she didn't fight because she's been injured. I don't understand how "I'm not making enough money per fight, so I should fight less", makes any sense. Pretty sure she supplements her incoming thot'ing on Instagram, which she could absolutely do while training.

Garbage truck drivers where I am from make $50-60K.

https://www.bloodyelbow.com/2013/6/27/4470436/tim-kennedy-rips-ufc-fighter-pay

"Kennedy revealed that he was due around $55,000 to show up at UFC 162, with the purse potentially increasing to $70,000 with a win bonus – but that after the expenses of his camp, medicals and fight team, he would only pocket around $20,000, even before taxes. After the interview, Kennedy sent a detailed breakdown of how his fight purse would be divided up: 13% on gym fees, 12% for nutrition, 10% to his manager, 10% to his coach, 8% on his camp lodging, 3% for fight medicals and 3% on equipment. In total, that’s 59% of his fight purse before tax is deducted."

Kennedy made that in 1 fight! I laugh how the fighters don't want to take into account the UFC's operating expenses while listing their own operating expenses as a reason to make additional money. That said I do think the UFC should pay more. Also, I am sick of hearing journalists talk about taxes without realizing that as an independent contractor Kennedy could deduct many of those expenses from his taxes.

lmao I love how they include food and housing as ‘fighter expenses’

Yes those are very unique to the fighter experience

Yeah probably, but you aren’t one of the dudes constantly trashing her either. There’s a lot of fighter bashing occurring here every day.

I will take a pay cut right now if it means my day job is just going to the gym.

Where do I sign up?
