Couture was yelling that the round should have been over when Yoshida had Gardner in trouble with a leg submission. It seems to have been extended a few seconds to give Yoshida a chance to submit Gardner.

There can easily be a discrepency on when the official timer stops and starts during stand-ups/restarts in the middle of the ring.
Randy's stopwatch was not the official time, plain and simple.
