I totally get what Tito was doing there and it's very clear that he is a very good coach and cares a great deal about his fighters, but I thought that was a bit much.
Did you guys think he was out of line or was that exactly what Clayton needed?
By the way, absolutely no shame in losing to Noke. He was my pick to win the show. He's got a great all around game.
Clayton was acting up.... Tito is a coach, he's there to teach you.
Tito is an excellent coach.
I agree TIto is an excellent coach. I would love to learn from him. Just not sure I would've been ok with that right after losing a fight on national television. At the same time, I have a great deal of respect for him, so I'm sure I would've just sucked it up.
I get what you're saying, but U gotta admit, he's a damn good coach.
No question. Great coach. In fact, great coaches all around this season. Chuck has Hackleman, Howard Davis, Jake Shields and Scott Epstein. They've got everything covered. And Tito with Saul and Rob has a great team of coaches also.
are you saying tito isn;t a good coach?....
looked like Clayton wanted out to me, he's miserable with his shoulder. He's very talented but mind fk's himself
Normally i'd say the timing was shit, but Tito approached it so well that i'm going to have to say it was ok. Loss or not, if one of the legends of a sport wants to show me something, i'm listening.
Tito's whole tone was great. He wasn't mad or disrespectful, christ he gently asked if Clayton would "please" just give him a minute...
i wasn't much of a Tito fan before this season, but i sure am now.
it's exactly what clay needed
Love him or hate him, Tito is an awesome coach. Alot of these young fighters can learn alot from a legend. Totally agree with what he did.

I agree. Well approached by Tito.
yeah, Tito's a great coach but I think he may be trying to look like a great coach for tv too. Also, wtf with Tito talking about how guys with a small injury are the kind looking for excuses and that HE of all people had not patience for that....WTF?
Hopefully Clayton uses what Tito taught him and never gets caught like that again. Tito comes across like he really cares about his guys.

I doubt he was doing that to look good on tv, considering he was a good coach back on season 3.
I was going to make the same thread. You gotta appreciate tito looking out for his people
that fight wasnt live in front of a huge audience, so I felt it was perfect timing. The guy shouldve been eager to learn just like Kimbo after his loss. And now he knows how to get out of a triangle
if i fuck up, i want to know what I did right away. Clayton acted like a baby the whole show. He just gave up as soon as the other guy started the move.
BTW: Didnt thing that escape was the best or "that easy".
Whenever Tito is done fighting (which will hopefully before he fucking cripples himself) he's going to have a great career as a trainer/coach, if he wants to go that route.

No, it's not easy against a good BJJ guy. But if you do it quickly, it's a good escape. Tito is known for his triangle escapes. He lets you start with the triangle sunk at seminars. Very underrated ground game.
Clayton was acting like a punk, he's there to learn and become a better fighter, not whine like a bitch.
Tito should have made him practice it more than twice and Clayton should learn that he eneds to respect his coaches. They're there for a reason
