Top 10 win streaks in UFC history?

There’s an argument to be made that the quality of those 7 opponents still makes it the best UFC only win streak. If you take WEC into account as part of it though, which most do, there is no argument

Islam moves to 11-0 in the UFC now.

What about greatest win streaks in MMA history.

Fedor also had his insane streak. Igor as well.

Machida’s 16-0 was pretty damn impressive. Beat Bonnar in his 2nd fight, Franklin in his 3rd, Penn in his 6th, White in his 8th and then Hoger, Heath, Nakamura, Sokoujjou, Ortiz, Thiago Silva, Evans and prime Shogun to cap it off.

Jones win streak includes 7 UFC champions, 5 of them back to back.

Machida’s win streak was special, and I really bought into the hype of the Machida era big time. I really thought he was going to be the Anderson Silva of the LHW division

Nah,you heard Joe Rogan say “Welcome to the Machida era” after he beat Rashad and took it as gospel.

Joe Rogan has that kind of effect on noobs & others.

Makhachev’s UFC win streak is starting to age better and better as it grows. It started with Wade who ended up the PFL 2022 champ and made it to the semis a couple other seasons as well.

The third win in the streak was Tibau who has basically been anywhere from a top 5 to a top 50 LW or WW for the past twenty years. Tibua has only been KO/TKOed a few times in his career and Makhachev KOed him in the 1st.

Fifth fight in the streak Makhachev beat Tsarukyan who is ranked top 10 and some think he should be 7-0 since then instead of 6-1 but thats a different story.

Then beat three current top 15 ranked fighters in his next three fights, submitted them all.

Now just beat two UFC champs on huge win streaks back to back in his last two fights.

Oliveira vs Dariush likely determines his next defense.

In his next defense he has a chance to tie Khabib with 13 wins in a row which is the UFC LW record.

John Danaher himself said GSP came back because Bisping was so beatable

Khabib had 13 straight UFC wins.

that KO should have retired Kevin, horrific

Jon has moved to 29-0 in the cage like Khabib and has done it with a lot more impressive wins.

In the UFC cage, Jon is 23-0 now across two weight classes.

The man entered the UFC and fought at the UFC level just four months after turning pro.
