Top WW prospect “The Lazy King” becomes double champ in Ares FC

I have a feeling we’ll see Abdoul Abdouraguimov in the UFC soon

He’s managed by Fernand Lopez’ MMA Factory Management, there’s been some odd stuff happening with fighters under that management having trouble transitioning over to the UFC, Fernand got in a nasty feud with Ali Abdelaziz about releasing a fighter from Ares FC where he acts as the promotion’s president. Fernand implied Ali wants to murder him over this dispute.

How do you guys think Abdoul does in the UFC’s welterweight landscape? They’re probably giving him a top 7 fighter in his debut if he makes the leap.

Shavkat is ranked number 10 and you think they’re going to give this guy a top 7?

Jiri only had two fights before he earned a title shot, I think the UFC might fast track a popular prospect like this. Someone like Vicente Luque or Sean Brady who are taking up spots in the top 10.

Jiri was a Rizin champ with multiple names on his record. He was also entering a weak division devoid of new contenders. It was easy to get a big fight.

Would be the same case in WW if it wasn’t the rank squatting division

WW has Khamzat and Shavkat, two undefeated rising stars with only 1 decision on their record combined. Brady was undefeated up until his last fight. Belal is on an 8 fight win streak. Usman just lost. There’s no shortage of people to fight for the belt.

True, Khamzat should have had the title shot for beating Gilbert. Jorge and Leon beat NATE DIAZ for their title shots

Free Fight that earned him double champ status:

Seems like he’s going for triple champ status, he is cutting to lightweight
