Mitchell starts off with a lot of movement. He lands a good number of strong lefts. As usual Tszyu is taking his time, starting slow. In the last minute of the round they often lock up and each struggles to land something on the inside. Tszyu is cut on the top of his nose from an accidental headbutt. It's a Mitchell round 10-9.
Round Two
Mitchell is still moving, but now Tszyu is beginning to catch him. A hard right stuns Mitchell. Tszyu follows up with a number of rights and Mitchell is down! He gets up, but looks hurt. Mitchell does a wonderful job in the 2nd half of the round to stay up and keep Tszyu from landing more flush rights. As the round closes Tszyu stuns him again. 10-8 round for Tszyu gives him a 19-18 lead.
Round Three
A single straight right has Mitchell down in the opening seconds! He barely gets up. Tszyu is looking to finish. Mitchell is trying to slow down the pace. A left-right stuns Mitchell and puts him on the ropes. Tszyu keeps throwing and Mitchell goes down again! With only seconds left Tszyu comes forth again and drops Mitchell for a final time as the ref stops it!!!
Its funny Das how so many people keep saying Kostya only has a punches chance. Alot said this is the chance he had in this fight also.
Keep hearing lots about Kostya, He is a slow starter ect ect.
Thing is with Kosty is he is a real thinker. He works out a plan to win and works away at it.
Best thing of all is he is a true champ as in he skipped a warm up fight and keeps taking on only the best in his division.
Excactly Keats,Big Props to Kostya, what a warrior!!!It was great to see him shut up another big mouth talking smack, just like Zab Judah. The thing i love is when these smacktalkers get hit with the big right hand, you can actually see the fear in their eyes ie judah and mitchell and they defintely don't wanna play anymore, congrats to Kostya!!!!!
Mayweather would be destroyed if he fought Kosta. Mayweather looked stunned a couple times at Chop Chop's power, I can't imagine how bad Kosta would hurt him.
Tszyu is the fucking MACK. I'd love to see him fight Gatti next, but Gatti already has a fight vs. Jesse James Leija scheduled for January, so that probably won't happen anytime soon. It looks like Emanuel Steward is trying to set up Vivan Harris as his next opponent.
