Francis would be a fish out of water. Francis is a worse version of wilder as far as boxing goes. All he has is the big bomb and he wouldn’t be able to land it in fury. Ngannou is used to being the bigger man and wouldn’t be against fury
There’s levels to this and Fury is on the top level in boxing.

If Ngannou had a prayer at boxing he’d have been making 10’s of millions already fighting the likes of Fury.
Both these guys have a punchers chance but the most likely result is Fury boxes him up. Ngannou doesn’t appear to punch as hard as Wilder. Fury has talked about mma but if they wanted to make a crossover with 1 boxing bout and 1 mma fight the purses would have to eclipse those of MayMac. These are current 2 HW champions in their respective sports. But does it have the same drawing power? Fury is good on the hype machine but hes no Connor McGregor.

Exactly. If he was good enough he would be making a shit ton more money in boxing fighting AJ, Fury, Wilder and others in stadiums in Saudi Arabia etc.
He might although it certainly would not appear as such based on results. The reality is it isn’t just about power output generated, it’s about how a fighter is able to apply power. In 19 rounds Wilder landed 1 significant shot in Fury.
In a bout like this (Boxing champ vs MMA champ), how about boxing rules using 4oz mma gloves. Give Ngannou a better punchers chance vs Fury’s boxing skills.
It’s doubtful. He could be up there in power certainly by MMA standards his power is historical.
But Wilder is a freak of nature and has one of the hardest punches in the history of boxing. He lacks a whole lot technically but his straight right is devastating and when it lands it usually shuts someone down.
