UFC 145 will surpass PRIDE 205 by 2016-8

before the merger i knew that the WEC LW'S were better than their UFC counterparts. When they made the merger known, I thought that all the smaller and older 55ers would head to 45 and make that division in the ufc really suck.

gladly i was wrong

the UFC featherweight division has had some of the best fights, finishes like the twister, crazy ass knockouts from both technical strikers and stand n wangers, and title fights I've ever seen in mma.
aldo/tkz aldo/mark hominick and the fight that i think he lost to Frankie Edgar were all amazing fights that are scoffed at by the recent influx of jaded and spoiled mma fans.

i've been a big critic of Jose Aldo, won't go as far to say i've bashed him, but i don't care for him and some if his in and out of the cage activities. he is one of the most dangerous champs the UFC has right now and the ones who can't tell he's in a shark tank of ninja assassins are the ones griping about Josay not being a draw.

at this rate jose is like wanderlei was in PRIDE and i think just as in wand's career, he might get KO'd by a heavy handed wrestler that he's already beaten before.

aldo mendes 3? i'd buy depending on the outcome of the upcoming fight, but i'd buy.

then after that? well the list can go on forever with potential match ups that would excite true mma fans for the months leading up to them.

point is that the UFC's Featherweight division will be a premier division with the top 15 full of main event status fighter.

watch...

ps a vtfu if you agree would be nice

Do you mean in terms of star power, or in terms of depth?

It's already 10x deeper.

205 always had the illusion of depth because everybody developed into a name, absolutely everybody.

both. i agree with everything in this post.

i thought the ug's collective opinion would be to the contrary of this.
