He's coming off the McGregor clout transfer. Of course those numbers are feasible.

Khabib's Dad always fudges the figures.  He may have made more gauranteed this fight, but hard to see how he will make more than the McG card, which did 2.4 million PPV and Khabib saw a cut of each PPV.  I bet his guaranteed pay will be between 750k and 1 million.  Khabib is not a proven draw yet.  Conor has double the IG followers, but more importantly, Khabib does not come from a place that buys PPV's.  Conor managed to pierce the American market and that is how he made bank.

6 million is possible with back room bonuses, dat Dubai oil money and other incentives, but we will never know.

I believe Dustin gets ppv pts since he had a belt?

That Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Money > Anderson Silva Money

those numbers are fake.

those numbers are fake.

The article makes it clear that they're estimates based on available information from past fights, so they really aren't "fake." They're just guesses. Some of the fighters have never fought on cards where an AC discloses fighter pay, so the "estimates" might be more appropriately called "wild guesses."

hope Dustin made more than a lousy 290K

do they still ppv money? thought it went out of the window with the ESPN 500K ppv numbers deal

Could be close to that considering they built an entire event and arena around Khabib. Lemme use the WWE As an example. When the WWE goes to Saudi Arabia they bring big-name wrestlers who have not wrestled in years because the Saudi's pay extra to see them on the card. Maybe that's the case here as well.

"He's coming off the McGregor clout transfer. Of course those numbers are feasible."

It’s not just that, he was incredibly popular outside the US for a while now. Obviously social media followers aren’t everything, but it does give you an idea of how popular the dude is. Here’s a quick comparison of instagram followers:

Paige Van Zant - 2.3M

GSP - 2.4M

Nate Diaz - 3.4M

Dana White - 4.1M

Jon Jones - 4.3M

Joe Rogan - 7.3M

Ronda Rousey - 12.5M

UFC - 15.4M

Khabib - 16.4M

Conor - 31.7M

So outside of Conor, Khabib has the biggest following of any UFC fighter, and it’s not even close. It’s not just about Conor either, because Nate Diaz beat Conor and fought him twice.

Khabib is wildly popular outside the US, and will be one of the UFC’s highest paid athletes for a while.

What is the fight week incentive pay?

I don't remember seeing that in the past.

It started at the beginning of 2018:

'The money athletes get per fight from the UFC's apparel deal with Reebok has now been rolled up with two other requirements -- media obligations and a fighter code of conduct.

The altered policy is now called "promotional guidelines" and is an amalgamation of all three things: conduct, media obligations and outfitting, per a document obtained by MMA Fighting. Fighter compensation for this is no longer called Reebok pay or outfitting pay -- it's called a "fight week incentive payment." '

You may say Khabib is not a proven draw ... take into account the population of all the former Soviet Union countries who watch because of nationalism , add in all the Muslims of the world who will watch because of ideology, throw in the wrestlers of the world who like his style, then all the plain old UFC fans who just watch everything and he brings in huge numbers.

Doesn't work with Interm title that's why they are so dumb

That new arena they built was shit

They had support beams all over the fucking place blocking the cage. Imagine spending money on tickets to have a metal supports blocking your view.

ac wasn't even working

they literarily had tents set up...lmao
