hammers hamil - As for Brock Lesnar his medicals will be back this week and a decision on his status for ufc 140 will be determined.. Brock is on his last fight of his contract and has decided not to renegoiate a new contract with zuffa at this time...
Speculation, but I assume this is because Brock, being the #1 PPV draw, would have more leverage if he wins his next fight, and only slightly less if he lost his next fight?
hammers hamil - Strikeforce for the time being will not be dying there are plans like ive stated before to turn it into a regional feeder show and slowly expand out of there strong markets..
I assume they'll be keeping their women's divisions as exclusive to Strikeforce then? Showtime seems to be very high on the women's fights.
hammers hamil - Ufc is working on a multi network deal with fox and talks are still going on with spike tv... deal would be ufc doing 3 to 5 network specials in primetime on saturday nights while remaining on spike... there have been a few other networks showing interest and entering negoiations but zuffa has over priced there brand nothing finalized as zuffa entertaining offers but fox leading candadate....
Where does Versus/NBC Sports fit into that? Are they still going to try to put some shows on Versus to hedge their bets?

no, cagepotatoe was trolled by someone angling for a pump and dump penny stock scheme.
SHowtime has elected not to extend the contract for strikeforce programming. They're option to extend expires in september so yeah they have made the decision already.
That's not to say that the relationship with zuffa will be over once the current contract runs out... showtime and CBS could still bid against fox and the other networks for UFC content.
im guessing fox will be a main player in this because they have that spanish fox channel and they will get a shitload of latino viewers. i have about 30 male cousins, myself and the older ones have been watching since 93 and all the younger ones love mma. and all our latin friends love it also. plus cains success and the viewers he brought in the spanish market will make fox a viable network to win this. just my $.02
