Sources close to the situation told MMAFighting.com that the UFC has released Brian Bowles, Stanislav Nedkov, Andy Ogle, Akira Corassani, Humberto Brown, Rodolfo Rubio, Juan Puig and Tim Gorman from their contracts.
None of them were surprising I'm hoping Brian can bounce back but with his legal troubles idk. Also Tim is tough has hell I hope he can get more experience and one day return.
Brigham - Wait didn't Bowles correct me if I'm wrong just get popped for meth distribution like months ago? How is he just getting released now?
He got caught for something. He was suspended so I guess selling drugs was a mean to pay the bills since he couldn't fight ? Idk what the charges were there was a article about it on BE.
These are all pretty understandable. Bowles pissed hot and is in legal trouble. Corassani retired. Most of the other guys couldn't make it out of lower ranks.
On TUF I really thought Ogle had a lot of potential but he has had a disastrous losing streak. He's only 26, maybe he can retool on some local UK shows and make a comeback.
Cheating makes it impossible for me to feel bad for.people, and Corassani on TUF made it damn near impossible to not hate him, so whatever on that.
Felt bad for ogle though. Not to say he should have been cut, just sucks that I went so rough for him. Maybe he'll go figure his life out somewhere else and make it back.
DaveAP - On second thought, dont feel sorry for this guy
"Bowles (10-3) tested positive for elevated testosterone levels in his last UFC bout, a TKO loss to George Roop in 2013, and leaves the promotion after going 2-2 inside the Octagon. Bowles, who shocked the world with a first-round knockout victory over Miguel Torres in 2009, was arrested on drug charges in January."

What drug charges?
Possession of meth and intent to distribute, iirc. He claims it was someone else's drugs but I can't remember the whole story.

It's always someone else's drugs.
Would you say yes officer those are my drugs?
Whether or not they were mine, I would say "yes officer those are my drugs".
Maybe he'd let me keep them? Or just take half? I'd offer him half, either way.
