UFC fighter praises beheading of French teacher

False equivalencies and refusal to condemn and generalize despite widely held beliefs - the last refuges of the retarded modern progressive.

I've said it for a very long time. Lots of these guys have extremist views. Some very shady people are infiltrating the UFC and MMA in general. Most coming from the same area. Nothing to see here though, right?

It does seem weird to have these guys in the UFC when you know their views behind doors are 100% against what the fanbase supports.

What’s even more strange is the glowing articles by mma media and the fan support for some of these guys. They are hanging out with legit warlord extremist dictators. Wearing shirts in support of terrorist attacks that killed innocent people. No articles on stuff like this.

They are extreme because they behead and strap bombs to themselves instead of dropping bombs miles away with predator drones.  Your argument is weak.

The left’s silence on islamic extremism is hilarious, if these were catholics beheading an innocent teacher because he teased Jesus you’d loose your mind, but since muslims are brown-er it’s no biggie.  Your argument is weak.

It's not "the left." It's some individuals.

Just like it's not all Muslims. There are millions of Muslims living in the U.S. who are law-abiding citizens making the country a better place to live every day.

Just like not all right-wingers are not represented by these idiots:

Generalizations matter!

Stop pretending like there's no difference.  Those white boy terrorists are going to be demonized here in America.  They're fucked whether they go to jail or not.  Our media will see to that.  Where is the muslim media condemning these savages beheading people.  Exactly.  Fucking SILENCE.  Because they're afraid that they'll be next.  Why are they afraid?  Isn't Islam a religion of peace?  How could they be afraid of a religion of peace?

Put your hand up if you're afraid of Christianity or Catholicism.

Demonized by some. Lionized by others.

Regardless of whether they're in the same league, my point is that nobody wins by claiming the actions of some represent the whole. That happens too often here and everywhere.

But if they're guilty, fucking string 'em up!

Except one ideology is responsible for almost ZERO deaths in the last 20 years and Islamic extremist and guilty of what? Hundreds of thousands you fucking idiot mother fucker. God damn, you are the dumbest motherfucker I've ever conversed with. You piece of shit.

You sound stable. Stay on your meds, dude.

You sound retarded. Stay wearing your burka.

I hear ya about generalization, but I really do believe there's a stark difference here....where a majority of the left is slow to call out islamic extremism but is uber critical of christians and jews for everything under the sun.  Hell even Bill Maher goes on and on about this issue.

Extremists are WRONG, left or right. Religious or agnostic.

It’s not rocket science guys about generalization. Look at the Pew Polls where over 50 percent in many Islamic countries support the death penalty for apostasy and a number of other harmful beliefs. Nothing remotely like that in non-Islamic majority countries. These beliefs don’t disappear simply because one emigrates. You’d have to have a total asinine way of thinking and extreme refusal to make distinctions about peoples to fail to generalize when it’s appropriate.

Not a ufc fighter

When did he get cut? I'm assuming it's gonna happen anyway since all 3 of his UFC fights have been losses, but I haven't heard about him being cut yet

"The UFC has provided BloodyElbow with the following statement, “UFC confirms that Zelim Imadaev was released from his contract earlier this summer and is no longer a member of the promotion’s roster"

Where do you live? You have Muslims trying to blow you up in your home? There are 3-5 million of them in the U.S.

According to you, they're just the same as extremists in Chechnya or in Tehran.

While I believe ALL religion is bullshit -- some more harmful than others, obviously -- not everyone practices religion in the same fervent manner, making them prone to acts of violence. Otherwise you'd be at risk walking down the street everyday.

For every Boston Marathon bomber, there's been more WASPs with semi-automatic rifles out there blasting people in America's streets, schools, theaters, etc. And FUCK anyone who resorts to violence whether they're Muslim or Christian or agnostic (UFC fighers in a cage exempted).

Painting all with the same brush isn’t a bad thing if it’s accurate.  Here, let me do a few:

Muslims don't criticise their own religion in public for fear of being stoned, having acid thrown on them, and being beheaded.

Jews criticise their own religion without fear of death.

The Western world criticizes everything without little to no fear at all.

So please, give me the name of the one brave Muslim speaking out against crimes committed in the name of his religion.  Because I can come up with ALL KINDS of names of Muslims praising murders committed in the name of their religion.

FatBuddha - It's not rocket science guys about generalization. Look at the Pew Polls where over 50 percent in many Islamic countries support the death penalty for apostasy and a number of other harmful beliefs. Nothing remotely like that in non-Islamic majority countries. These beliefs don't disappear simply because one emigrates. You'd have to have a total asinine way of thinking and extreme refusal to make distinctions about peoples to fail to generalize when it's appropriate.

Why are you cherry picking data. Worldwide Islamic terror is the top threat amongst all terrorists by a very wide margin.

You're really dense, aren't you? I've repeatedly referred to the generalizations that you and FatBuddha are trying to make, painting everyone with the same brush. So I'm using the example of America to make the point.

Nowhere do I deny that there’s a lot of extremist Muslims out for blood in other parts of the world.

I’ll try to type more slowly next time so you can keep up.

Have you heard about Orthoxdox Jews and domestic violence?

Have you heard about Western society and cancel culture?

There's lots of fucked up shit out there, and that most definitely includes fundie Muslims.

P.S. I'm the guy who started this thread because of the appalling beliefs of a Muslim who happens to be an MMA fighter.

Anyone beheaded over cancel culture?  I'm not saying we're perfect.  Is our culture and umbrella of religion better than every Muslim tribe/country/culture?  Go ahead.  Tell me no.

Yeah, I’d take that over the beheaders, for sure. But, one more time, it doesn’t make every Muslim a beheader. Not saying you alleged as much but some here seem to be under that impression.
