Can you go into more detail about the differences?
Monaco is ultra expensive, full of elite and wealthy euros and everybody dresses very well and behaves impecably. It's also a coastal town.
Vegas is the home of the $2.99 buffet, fat midwesterners, girls gone wild types, street hookers and is about as low class as one can find. It's also in the middle of a god forsaken desert.
With all that said, Vegas pwns Monaco IMO.

droc, when did that tv ban come into effect? I was in Sophia-Antipolis last year and watched Cage Rage and some other shows on Eurosport every night.
Also, I was all around Monaco and didn't see any obvious large indoor arenas - where would they hold a UFC event?

Monaco shits on Vegas. Monaco is a way classier place than vegas. Monaco is by far my favorite country I've ever been to. The weather is great year round. It is so much cooler than vegas.
That said it seems a rather odd place to have a UFC show.
Monaco has a soccer stadium the LouisII stadium it doesn't seem to me to be the ideal venue for MMA but it could certainly be used.
They also have the Grimaldi forum but it can only seat a couple couple thousand people and I dont see it being used for the UFC anyways. It is more of a theater style auditorium.

Yes I was at a function at the 3rd / bottom level of the Forum last year. I dont know why they would hold one there as it can only hold a few thousand, but might be worth their time just for brand purposes e.g. just a show for Monaco's elite or something like that.
Still Nice would be MUCH better. Except for the laws unfortunately.
