Has anyone heard of any rumors of the UFC or StrikeForce coming to New Jersey... last year they both had events fairly early in the year.

if you had 1 Ufc and 1 SF how the hell are you forgotten by Zuffa? That's more than most places get in 3 or 4 years.

Jersey fans have been traveling to NYC forever to enjoy big events so why not enjoy the fact NYC can't have the UFC and Newark NJ gets to host.

And by a lot I'm talking about 10 or 11 events. Outside of Vegas, and Cali, I bet jersey is number 3 for total UFC events.

Sure, your number sounds about right if you factor in their total history. The fact is, since this sport blew up in in 2005-2006, go back and count how many times there has been a UFC card in NJ. In reality, the UFC during the SEG and early Zuffa era used NJ has a backbone to keep its business alive. We love the UFC here and did a decent job of demonstrating it.
Now, they have literally 2-3 events a month it seems and we're still lucky if we crack one NJ show a year, if that. It could be worse for sure, but given the fact they can't get into NY at all, you think they'd show a little more love here these days.

That Strikeforce one (which I went to) was booked at the venue prior to Zuffa purchasing Strikeforce, if I remember correctly. It's ok, Bellator comes here quite often so it'll have to do.

Off the top of my head my guess is 4 or 5. That's a LOT compared to other states. Shit, chicago has a huge ppv market and we are only getting our second UFC event (UFC FOX 2). There are a lot of states with only 1 or 2 events in total. My guess is the order is Nevada, Cali, and new jersey for most frequented states for UFC events.
Is the august event possibly philly?

Yeah I think the Prude is a nicer venue but the drive to Izod is quicker for me so I'm pumped for this one.
