UFN underdogs I REALLY like

"I can't even dream of scenario where Irvin wins, thanks for confirming that."

Info, I'll put my 50 vs. your 75 that Irvin wins. That's a better deal than you will get at any sportsbook. Let me know.

Some good underdogs there. I would put money on Irvin, Neer, and Alves.

wow... the racist 'journalist' probst could actually go 0-4 on those picks...

"Irvin started winding up a right kick last Thursday. If that kick lands, he'll win for sure!"

lol

How's the professor life, Tahiti Bo? I checked all 37 at the UNC journo school and none of them remotely fit your description though you said you were a tenured journo prof there.

of course, your profile says you're an attorney, which you also admitted is false on that thread were we had a nice convo a while back.

Keep trying tho. I always enjoy the effort. Are you really a disgruntled travel agent or something? You can tell me. We keep secrets here, even the false ones...

BOETSCH

"Jardine is better on the feet and a far more intelligent fighter than Irvine. And he got rocket launched"

That just isnt true, he isnt better in any sense really.

As a side note I think a lot of people are dismissing how much Houston being completely unknown played a factor in that fight. Remember Jardine rocked him early and then ran in without much defense, no way he expected that kind of power, by the time he felt it he was in big trouble. No questions in my mind that if they fought again it would be a different story and like I said above no way Jardine has better stand up.

Good point, Saku. Houston was indeed a serious wild card.

I think people are also being way too harsh on Houston's ground game. So he got outgrappled by Thiago...well, most guys would.

^I agree to some exent. He is definately lacking but I don't think it willmatter much in this fight.

It will be a problem when he faces anybody with a real good ground game and will likely keep him from ever being a champion but there are definately a lot of fights that he can still win and that I would like to see.

I like Irvin to upset Houston.

AJ and Neer...

you mention the dogs you like but leave Joe and Gray off the list?

I think Gray is a very solid bet as he's HUGE compared to Franky, and he's probably the better wrestler. I haven't seen enough of Franky's non-wrestling game to make me think he can beat a solid wrestler.

And Joe is a good bet anytime he's a dog, especially when it's nearing +200

If Houston can get his hands on Irvin, and clinch/hold while throwing his big right hand, Irvin is in trouble.

If he can't, this is Irvin's fight. Irvin is much smoother striking on the feet, and Houston hasn't shown in any fight that he can stand and trade, work distance, defend kicks, utilize footwork, etc. His 2 wins come from being able to grab a guy and then punch/knee.

That TRJ guy must've known something about Anthony Johnson...

ttt for the underdogs.
