I don't see him winning at all, but I definitely think he will go balls out and he should, this is likely the last opportunity he will ever have to shine.

How old is he?
depends if he's on the shark & horse meat steaks
- It has nothing to do with age though. He's just been in the game forever, barely has a winning record and is just not going to get many opportunities in MMA to be on the big stage, if any after this. I think he is only being brought in because of his brothers rise to popularity. One thing that I think is really crazy though, between him and his brother, he has the best wins! He actually submitted both Randy Couture and Babalu back in the day.
His last 2 fights

Vaelntijn has the athleticism and experience but he's never really excelled
Bigfoot by tko
that matchup is a joke, pairing up Bigfoot who should be getting Overeem or Fedor, against a guy with a horrible record isnt really fair to Silva.

He is getting Overeem.
When is Arlovski fighting next?

har har har, he should be getting Alistair
very nice aggression in both fights.. damn
i think the losses have helped develop the overeems personally. In wrestling plenty of champions have handfuls of losses during a four year cycle on their way to an olympic gold, I see no reason why over an 8 year span you couldn't lose 10-11 times and not possibly have been the best guy for a sixth month period during that run. They are soo much better competition trained, and think about who some of those losses are two.... He was losing to Igor when he was what 22? who wouldn't get their ass beat by Igor at 22? How do you think any of these fighters would have done against those guys when they were that inexperienced. As long as they haven't taken too many head blows, thats a tough vet.
Val's major problem has been wrestlers (or anyone that can shoot a good double)---he's a pretty traditional Dutch MMAer.. good M-T, good leg locks, not so great from his back or on takedown defense. I can just assume that Big Foot would come out shooting, so, I give him a chance. If he's +220 or greater, I'd give him a little action.
Such a stupid fight, they basically just signed Valentijn so Pezao could beat him up and then they'd have an easier time hyping an Alistair/Pezao title fight with a "avenging brother" storyline.
ttt

But the '10er kids dont have any knowledge of that. Randy and Babalu were top guys on the world stage when Overeem tapped them out.
Val was always bigger than Alistair. Now Alistair is bigger than his brother ever was.
