Anyone who doesn’t have kids cannot possibly understand the mindset that Cain must have been in. It is in a man and womans instinct to fiercely defend their children from threats or danger. Now imagine how irrate, upset, angered and frustrated Cain must have been after hearing the guy was released on his own without even needing to post bail. The combination of the want to defend his son, feeling of helplessness when the authorities released him and the confusion to think straight due to the frustration he was overcome with must have been insane. I truely believe he was as unable to be responsible for his actions due to a temporary unsound state of mind. I don’t understand how anyone could argue how he was of “Sound mind” at that moment. It most certainly will come down to the jury selection. I know Mark Geragos is a high profile attorney, but I don’t know if he is the best defense attorney. He is very wellknown. I think Cain probably could have found more capable representation with a lower profile. All Cain needs though is for one “mom or dad” that is not a liberal gun hating or pedo loving lunatic to make the jury. A jury that is 11-1 in favor of guilty still ends with Cain walking free. If there is anything right in this shitty state called California, he walks free. He can pay the shitty Step Dad who felted compelled to pick up a 40+year old man who still lives with mis mom from jail after being accused of child molestation. Cain is far less likely to ever break any laws in the future than the 40+year old man who failed to ever assume normal adult responsibilities like providing his own housing.

To say he was of sound mind, you must not have children of your own. I couldnt imagine the rage that he must have felt when he was called and told the accused was released from custody. He could not possibly control his emotions or actions at that time. NO WAY! To not understand how out of control he must have been, you cant possibly have children.

His attorney has to be looking at jury nullification. All they need is one or two jurors who believe he is not guilty. If they can do that it is a mistrial. The district attorney might be compelled to plead him out to something lesser to save face and avoid losing again.

There was three people in the truck. Cain couldnt get them to pullover or stop. When they got to a intersection and had to slow, I believe is when Cain shot at the accused. He missed the guy he was shooting at and hit the step-father in the arm (I believe). The guy was on his way home from going to pickup his 40+ year old step-son who lives at home and is accused of touching kids there. No chance I would have picked him up from jail, or even had a 40 something year old living in my house to begin with.
