If you're aware already, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is one of the hardest martial arts to receive the rank of Black Belt, this is highly due to the fact that BJJ has a large focus on performance of the practitioner. It is very rare that you come across a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that can't handle themselves on the mat well.
It takes most people 9 to 15 years to reach the level of Black Belt in BJJ. Most people can't even stick to something for 12 to 15 days haha, so imagine how hard it could be to stick with something for 12 to 15 years! Add the fact that you're not just sticking with any ordinary thing. You are choosing to stick with something that is:
- Physically Challenging
- Mentally Challenging
- Emotionally Challenging
Those things I listed above scare most people.
In this video I share just some of the simple things that I did to help keep me focused, motivated, and driven to reach the goal of Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Without doing these little things, I honestly don't think I would have been as focused as I was. I always need constant reminders to stick with my journey and my goals and these things have really helped me along the way.
The great thing is that I don't just use these methods for BJJ, I use them in every day life as well.
Thank you for your support and stay the path!

double post
The first 5:30 minutes was you rambling about how the black belt is difficult to attain. I think every viewer of this video knows that it's difficult. Additionally, the editing is very erratic and annoying. It was like watching an MTV show (not that I do that sort of thing) which chops frames every 0.5 seconds to retain the interest of the retarded adolescents being raised in this country.
I'm sure you have good advice but I personally didn't like the delivery.

Fuck fat chicks. I know it's easy but I just can't bring myself to do it.

Rival School -Maybe - it's meant as constructive criticism though. An adult should be able to handle it.Willin - The first 5:30 minutes was you rambling about how the black belt is difficult to attain. I think every viewer of this video knows that it's difficult. I live 20 min from a gym I'm a paying member of with a 4 time BJJ BB world champion instructer and I still have trouble dragging my ass into the gym. I probably haven't been there in a month. I love martial arts and mma and Jiu Jitsu. Any advice for getting over mental humps?
Bobs App - You are making top notch content Mr. Scully. Thanks for all you do.
Thank you sir...and you're welcome
Willin -Self assured whiny bitch. Constructive criticism from who? A nobody? Are you an instructor with an academy of your own, grappling wins in multiple tournaments and more than likely millions of views on your videos?Rival School -Maybe - it's meant as constructive criticism though. If not what makes you think anyone gives a shit what you have to say about how a short clip was edited?
You are searching for anything to drop your world views on. Sneaking around snooping on conversations so you can talk about the liberal media. Shut your mouth you good for nothing , non contributing, sandy vagged cunt
