Jay R was a real scrapper. I'd be scared as hell fighting those big as dudes at 165lbs. Watching him stomp the shit outta Maurice Corty was scary.
Even though Danny Boy Bennet had knocked him out twice by the time I got to him, I was still pissing my pants at the prospect of fighting Jay R. Palmer.

I always enjoyed watching him lose. It was generally a triumph for technique.
