I'm visiting Denver 12/30 - 1/3. I have 2 gyms I'd like to tain at while there. Jubera BJJ and Easton North (Nick Kline). Does anyone have any experience with these places or instructors. What should I expect in the way of class structure and vibe of gym. Thanks guys
I have a student that just moved there. He is training at juberas place. Said its a good atmosphere and very welcoming. My $.02
Are you up north by them? Jubera is awesome, as is Kline. Come down to Katharo, we have fun there.
Thx. I'll update once I'm back
Jubera is a Ribeiro affiliate and when me and a couple of teammates went up for Denver National they saw the patches and immediately took my friends under their wing. Even coached them and went out of their way to be super welcoming.
Easton is great. Every friend that I have that has trains there absolutely loves it.
My brother from another mother Seth Daniels trains out of Colorado BJJ. They have a ton of killers as well. Everybody I have met from the Zingano crew and the Karthro gang are super cool too. (If you get a chance to check out the Sons of Thunder wrestling club they are amazing kids. <3)
The Denver BJJ community is super great and awesome. They love to bake and share cookies and pastries with you all the time. It makes you feel so happy on the inside and out. I can't wait to go back!
I train at Coloradobjj. We recently moved to a new location: 7800 Cherry Creek Dr.
Are there many clubs in downtown Denver? The wife and I will be in Denver later this year staying downtown and we're looking for somewhere to train. At the moment looking into alchemy. We did consider coloradobjj but the new location will be too far for us.
