Honestly because Vladdy looked good. The other guy didn't do anything in the fight. It's a perfect case for head movement, the opponent had none. However, props to Vladdy for being old school and representing.

i've been a fan of vladdy's fights since his vale tudo days in the 90s
vladdy's grappling is insane...his sub defense is off the hook...if the best sub grapplers in the world can't beat vladdy (xande and vinny) in nogi subfight...then vladdy won't be tapping much if ever especially if it's mma and he's throwing bombs

I agree. That was the only fight I ever saw where Vladdy didn't seem himself. He looked "off" mentally. It's really too bad because that win would have really helped his career.
