Earlier this year, Mike O’Hearn was confirmed to be competing at Bloodsport Bushido. While he will still make a highly-anticipated appearance at the event, the viral bodybuilder will now have to do so with a switch of opponents.

O’Hearn is a man of many talents, but is arguably most known for being a viral sensation on social media. Along with his several lines of work, he will now add combat sports into the mix when he enters the world of Bloodsport.

As reported by Mike O’Hearn himself, he was set to face former UFC champion Rampage Jackson in his debut matchup. Although Rampage remains on the card, O’Hearn will now instead face Erik Hammer.

onsidering his stature in the sport of professional wrestling, Erik Hammer can be considered a much tougher matchup for Mike O’Hearn.
At an estimated 6’ 6", Hammer is a towering presence in the ring. Over time, the veteran with 16 years between the ropes has become a master technician and will likely use that to his advantage against his inexperienced opponent next time out.

Despite holding an experience advantage, the 43-year-old is surprisingly 12 years younger than the debuting Mike O’Hearn.

Regardless of the opponent change, O’Hearn has been putting in the work to improve his skillset. This could be thr first of many appearances in the Bloodsport universe for a man almost certain to be a fan favorite.

Duffee on BKFC card this week

I like that Suzuki and Funaki are still going strong and I haven’t watched wrestling since the 90’s besides a few matches on youtube.

Funaki debuted as a pro wrestler for New Japan when he was still only 15. He is 55 now.

Forty years of pro wrestling and MMA.

Hope this event does well.

Hopefully they bar Santino from using the Cobra. Saku has seen enough damage in the ring.

Is every match pro wrestling?

Wild Each

Makes sense why he quit so early against Rothwell. He thought BKFC was fake too

Haven’t been on in a while is this a joke? Mike o Hearn can fight or thinks he can fight?

All these matches are shoot style works, so rasslin.

No Frank Dux or Chong Li ?
I want to see the rematch. I think Chong Li would take it this time.

Wow some big names, can’t wait
