People don't understand who Karelin was... The most dominant and terrifying athlete of all time. Fedor is one of my favorites but Karelin is once in a lifetime. With sufficient prep time Karelin beats everyone Phone Post 3.0

To say otherwise is to basically imply that Karelin was the best MMA fighter in the world even though he had little to no MMA training.  I think we know that elite wrestling skills alone will only take you so far in MMA.
