Was Koschek an NCAA champ?

Was Koschek an NCAA champion or an All-American? I can't seem to find any record of him having won an NCAA championship although I've heard people hear say that he was a champ.

Josh won Nationals as a Junior and took 2nd as a Soph. and 3rd as a Senior (due to an injury), not sure about his Freshman year. So, overall he is a 4X AA and 1X NCAA National Champ.

Those are very impressive numbers in my opinion.

I agree, not bad at all.

Where did he go to school?

Edinboro PA ?

At what weight class did he wrestle?

Josh went 42-0 not sure what year in college that was.

D-1?

Gator is incorrect.Kosheck won NCAA D1 He was @ 171

Josh was at 174 pounds and was a 4x Division 1 All-American and won the title his junior year, going a perfect 42-0. He was a complete and total animal. Anyone who thinks he was scared of Leben has a touch of the down (syndrome....that is).

Also, the word on Themat.com forum (the largest and most respected wrestling forum on the internet) is that Josh has quit his job at the University of Buffalo and is in California traning for an upcoming fight. One member spoke to Josh and, while Josh couldn't directly comment on his performance on the show, he sounded very pleased (hint, hint, wink wink).

"He won a "national" title at edinboro the same school where Matt Furey won a "national" title. that would be like winning a spelling be at the contest where dan quayle won a spelling bee ."

Yeah there's a lot of fuckin merit in that quote. Are you discrediting his national title? Do you have any idea how hard it is to get to nationals? Let alone to go undefeated.

Gator

edinboro is an amazing place to wrestle. i am not sure what furey claims, but it is a D-1 school and they have a rich history. Bruce Baumgartner (a heavyweight usa legend) coached there in the past i believe.

well that's new knowledge

I think when Furey was NCAA champ for Edinboro they were Division II. They have since turned to D-1 and I think Bruce Baumgardner used to or still does coach there.

Jeter,

Edit your post. No Spoilers!!!

Gator Man is wrong about 85-95% of the time, generous estimate since I'm feeling friendly. Might as well get used to it, peeps.

mikeblack is correct. When Furey won, they were Division II, now they are Division I.

I don't think he is scared of Leban, just doesn't fight unless he has to. If had what it takes to win Nationals he will beat the shit out of Leban, mark my words.

Gator is incorrect dismissing Koshecks winning D1 nationals and Jeter if u know any results KEEP them to yourself
