Original BSF - New management team is abandoning old deals made as they do not receive a cut of it, so thy take the client to a new company that pays less just so they can get a %.
Not putting the client first.
Source???
Not gonna vote you down. But asking BAF for a source is like asking UFC Brittany's doc if he's ever done Botox work...
rharris - I normally don't chime in on threads like this, but I decided I would add my 2 cents.
Ive worked with Paradigm for years...have to say Ive never seen them do anything that I thought was bad for their fighters. They always represent their fighters interests with me (and I deal with them weekly).
Not sure how or why BSF (or who he is of that matter) would start a thread like this.
Reed
Holy Shit!!
Reed!!! Very nice to see him post here!!
With respect to Reed, maybe they negotiate with brands and deal with sponsors differently then they do the WEC and UFC? just a question.
And Reed, BSF, is one of the original members of the UG and Sherdog forums. he is a wealth of knowledge in this realm

This is twice in a week I've seen you post. Funny most these folks probably have no clue the credibility you bring. Good to see you active.

Everything you say here obviously carries quite a bit of weight Reed.
Have you worked with them in relation to non ufc sponsors?
Before them, I think Chris was working with PowerMMA/Dave Martin. What has your experience been with them?

this!!
I'm interviewing for a new BFF soon. You should totally apply.
gokudamus - with reebok in place most fighters should start hiring attorneys that they pay by the hour instead of managers who take a cut of what you earn
That's a great idea.. Just stop having professional rep them at all... That's exactly what the UFC wants.
LOL...attorneys are professional rep dummy...i represent a number of athletes that also have management at top firms and most of them have no clue how to negotiate a deal

I mean, I love flirting...
But you would have to fight HitMan Dan and BSF first

an attorney is better to have then a manager usually

agreed...a manager is useful to get sponsors and find other deals, but if those wells have dried up, why pay them a % of things they havent procured or negotiated properly

Hope your well.
In my role I deal with managers every day. All I was trying to say is that the Paradigm team is always fighting for their guys. They are fair but definetely have their fighters best interest in mind.
My point is that if they are doing this, Im sure theirs a strategy in mind and not to take anything away from BSF, but its easy to take shots a things that on the surface may look bad when in fact it makes perfect sense if your actually involved in it.
I see stuff on here all the time that is questioned by the UGers, but since Im involved I know and understand why it is being done that way. I normally don't even say anything because like all of you, its entertaining :)
