Welcome Jon Fitch

I remember Fitch was briefly cut and brought back from the UFC in like a 48 hour period in 2008 and he was 8-1 UFC coming off a Title Fight Decision to GSP and they cut him then brought him back right away lol sounded fair and nothing personal haha… then during that 48 hour period I remember running into him at the Strikeforce Destruction event in the Concessions line and talked about it with him real quick. That was cool to meet him especially at that moment.

lol look at you dancing about. you haven’t even got the keys to the door, my old son. you have to press the tradesman’s button to see if someone lets you in LMAO

you’re a touchy lunatic but i 100% appreciate your efforts, genuinely know for a fact you’re the MVP poster.

lol @ jon told me.

Were you meaning to quote me? I was the one who said Jon told me.

I can show you the text he sent me. If you like.

@LytesOutPodcast can confirm.

hey harlembro. most of my post was aimed at HKP, but i also took a swipe at you at the end, no real offence intended. i dont doubt you’re in touch with Jon. but i thought referencing it to shut me up was a tad clumsy.

please dont delete any more of my posts. they may seem slightly objectionable at times, but if you think that, just have another quick read. often they are friendly in a way that may appear misguided. that’s on purpose, it’s art! lol cheers have a good one.

Hey mindless. I will do whatever I deem necessary. You have had a total of 2 posts deleted in the 9 years you have been here. Only 1 by me. I think the sensitive one might be you.

I wasn’t trying to shut you up. I was providing information like I normally do.

You can either accept that and adjust… or not. I don’t really care.

I liked Jon even though he was sort of a blanket fighter. I usually rooted for him

I remember years ago watching a PPV after eating a bunch of mushrooms. There was a very bloody fight that started turning my trip into a bad one. I was shocked at all the people screaming for blood just begging for someone to get seriously hurt. I was disgusted by our nature. Fast forward a bit and a Jon Fitch came on. He was dominating his opponent but wasn’t trying to really hurt him and I really appreciated him in that super sensitive moment and it felt like he was a benevolent human and the gods were shining on him in the colosseum.

i didn’t call you sensitive and didn’t suggest you’d deleted loads of posts. thank you for the information, shall adjust, as necessary.

Fitch was team captain at AKA, got to train w him for a couple weeks in 08.was a very nice and quieter guy. Was a toss up between him and cain in regards to who pushed the hardest.

ah, you do? great news.

sweet, honestly, congrats. it was a glaring anomaly that you were posting hundreds of excellent news threads and people were clamouring for you to have access to the booth. seemed brutal you hadn’t been recognised. you kept this place moving during some seriously quiet times. we’re not going for a beer any time soon, but i recognise you’re the guv’nor. thank you.

Jon fitch shouldn’t have retired. Plenty of fight left for him, even in other organizations.

Fighters in his league are a lot of times fighting to get that belt. When that’s no longer a possibility there’s no reason to continue.

Yes, I ended up staying w mike kyle after training w them for a few days during that time as well. Mike took me in bc I didn’t have a place to stay and he didn’t have a vehicle

ah fair play to you. must have been a top boy. most impressive.

which pros did you train with?
can you give us any insight into their strengths and weaknesses,as seen in the gym?
(time has passed you can break confidence for some fanatical weirdo fans on the internet with zero influence!)
did you witness any drama in the gym?
if so, c’mon bro we need to know about this, any details would be much appreciated
what was the format of your training sessions?
did you see anyone get injured?
if so what happened?
can you give more info about the guys we never heard of, who gave the pros good work?

sorry to ask so much. cheers.

I knew of mike, but not a whole lot. We drove across the bridge after training into Oakland and picked up some taco makings. We go into his house and clean up, then make tacos and crack beers. Im still kinda on edge bc mike is a giant and i was walking around 165 or so. He pops in a dvd. Now this is while mike was serving his suspension for almost killing a guy in wec. Well, the dvd was of that fight and he more less says yeah I took it too far. Needless to say I did not sleep much that first night lol
