I will miss his fearless attitude and the way he conducted himself that brought a lot of fun and laughs to the UFC. Chael knew when to be on, and he knew when to be off. He was a character for sure, but we saw the real Chael, a genuinely good guy, during TUF. He did what he had to do to promote himself and make money, but I wish we got to see more of the down to earth, TUF version of Chael. Hopefully he'll continue to serve as an analyst on FS1.
I don't think anyone can deny he brought a lot of excitement to the sport. He was always down to fight whoever, whenever. He fought a killer list of opponents in the UFC, especially these last few years. Now that Chael is gone, and GSP is potentially retired, what's left for me? Just BJ Penn and Condit.
At least I got to see Chael fight in Boston and submit Shogun. Great experience. We'll miss you American Gangster!
Word!
So long!
Will be missed terribly. Say what you will, this mother fucker always stepped up to the plate and never ducked anyone. True fucking BOSS!
I like Chael...will be missed.
MMA just got a lot more boring. I am looking forward to all the tribute to the Gangster videos that will pop up.
"Brock Lesnar I'd slap you across your face and you wouldn't do a damn thing about it"
"217lbs of muscle steel and sex appeal"
"When your the best they don't call you the best, they call you Chael Sonnen"
