Having read another thread on here, someone said they would like to meet me as they think I'm a cool guy.

So I thought I would ask you guy's, how would you describe yourself if someone was wanting to meet you.

.... and nope this is not a chat-up line for a dating agency.... just a bit of fun for you tough guy fighters.

What people will tell you about me is, if you have Ian Freeman as a friend, you have a friend for life. There are no grey areas, only black or white. A bit of a prefectionist. Always fooling around, only serious about the serious. Rather laugh than cry, but get real upset to films that involve kids hurt... The Green Mile was a tear jerker.

If I dont like ya, then I wont kiss your ass to your face, then diss you when your back turned... I'll call you to your face and won't give a damn when your backs turned.

Always put my hand in my pocket to help a friend or the needy, but never ask for cash when I'm broke.

I love my wife and I love my kids. I'll say sorry even if I'm wrong just to keep the peace, but will never back down if I'm the one being dissed and I'm very opinionated if I speak my mind.

I'm also a workaholic and strive for the best in everything. I'd rather fail trying, than be frightened to fail not trying.

I love the UK, but if I had to move or could afford to move, I would live in the USA at the drop of a hat because you guys (or most of you) are cool guy's to know.

Alright, fair enough. Here goes.

I am a nice guy, but a bad person. I am loyal to a fault, and can't hold a grudge. I go 100% into everything I set my mind to. (for about 3 months, then I burn out and go 100% into something else.)

I am very good at doing or saying the right thing at the wrong moment.

I'm somewhat similar to Ian in that....

I try to do my best to help people out even if if it puts me out in some ways.

I ALWAYS do what I say I will do!!!!! I hate when people talk shit about the things they say....and most people do that.

I definitely believe in sharing the things I have.

To my family & friends, I am loyal as anyone you can hope for.....and I never BS anyone....(My dad used to say..."It doesn't EVER take a man to lie....However; it ALWAYS takes a man to be honest." I always loved that.) 

I am always willing to give someone a fair shot at doing the right thing first. However, I WONT get involved with someone that I feel is trying to pull one over on me.

I believe in long standing relationships...most of my friends are the same friends I've had since elementary & high school.

I definitely believe in HARD WORK. It always builds character & always gives an appreciation for the little things in life that mean "everything".

I believe in minding my own business....AMEN!

I'm not a very religious guy, and consider religion to be the roots of many evils. Religion turns me off.

I try not to get too high about the highs..and too low about the lows.

This is an interesting question Ian. I just had to write a paper for school on something called 'tainted decency'. The main subject being studied was Oskar Schindler. Here was a guy who did alot of good for the Jews but was also a member of the Nazi party and had done questionable things in his past so were his decent acts therefore tainted?

I wonder how many people fall into this category? How many of us are genuinely good guys yet have done or continue to do things that may be considered 'bad' by the general public.

Did I just make this whole thing a little too deep? LOL :)

Cool thread. I'm trying to think of something nice to say about myself. Most people think I'm a nice guy but I don't know why. Best thing I can say is, if my friends or family need me, I'm in 100%. If you need someone to watch your back, you won't find anyone more willing.

you dont have to be the hardest man in town as long as your there to take someone off my back if a big fight breaks out.

I'm 26....Married with a 2 year old daughter.....Family is #1....A great friend, and hopefully a great husband and father....But there is always room for improvement....God fearing, baptist church attending, Sunday scool teacher....

I work in the Murder capital of USA (Camden, NJ.) and I love it.  I am a social worker for the Division of Youth and Family Services.  I help kids and their families deal with struggle after incdidents of abuse and neglect.  My editor at the local sports paper (where I used to work), still lets me write mma articles and I've been taking pictures at MMA events...And I'm an avid mma collector..

interseting how most guys describe themselves similarly. id say pretty much the same although most girls you speek to would say im a prick and most guys that know me would say i was a good guy. if you ask any of my ex girlfriends they would all say i was a sexist pig, wich is pretty fair!!!
other than that im a typical british university student, drink and sleep too much and work too little.
this could be a good thread to get a general idea of the type of people that are into this sport, notice how no one has said they are huge fans of cockfighting!!!!:)
