What sux about Sakara!!!

is not his abilities, is the fact that hes probably not gonna be on another UFC card. But im sure Joe Riggs will

Sakara was killing Faircloth before the kick to the nuts

Than he destroyed Elvis (former #1 contender) but was on the undercard

Now they put him against a KOTC Champion Dean Lister, and he he suffers his first lose

UFC seems to like the 3 fight deal and I hope they dont choose to let him go based on this lose.

Just because he lost to Lister doesnt mean he cant fight with the best of that division. Listers going down a divisio, so put Sakara with some one like Swick or Babalou or Van Arsdal or Marquart or Bonnar or Horn

But I predict Joe Riggs will be back on the card. Even though I can only remember one fight he acually won

dean fought for pennies too

ufc likes him

and hes on tuf

they will build him

Only 3 of the 6 fighters you mentioned are in Sakara's division, that's very strange.

I hope to see him back too

DROC

Sakara definitely deserves to be back more than Riggs.

Funny, I mentioned yesterday that it seems that UFC is desperate to have Riggs in there. Is his mom related somehow to the Fertitas?

Was sakara really IBF champion at one point or is that total bs to hype him up even more by the UFC. I ask because they said his boxing record was 6-1 I dont think you get a title shot after seven fights take a little longer than that imo

Leon Spinks got title shot after 8 fights.

I like Sakara, he'll be back.

He's badass!!!

"is not his abilities, is the fact that hes probably not gonna be on another UFC card."

What are you basing this on? He's one of the most exciting strikers in the division, why wouldn't they bring him back?

I didnt know that thanks for the info..

Riggs is actually 3 and 3 in the UFC

W - Dorekson
L- Salaverry
W - Lytle
L - Hughes
W- Diaz
L- Swick

Sakara was not IBF champ, I dunno why they said that it was total bullshit. He challenged for the "IBF Youth Title" and got KOed. His boxing career was actually very unimpressive, he was 6-1 but none of the guys he beat had a single win on their record when he beat them.

To his credit, the guy who KOed him has actually become a real prospect in the cruiserweight division.

"Was sakara really IBF champion at one point or is that total bs to hype him up even more by the UFC. I ask because they said his boxing record was 6-1 I dont think you get a title shot after seven fights take a little longer than that imo"

A. The COMBINED record of the 6 people Sakara beat in boxing is 0-19-0. After fighting Sakara, 2 of the guys never fought again and the others went a combined 1-7.

B. The one guy who beat Sakara was 8-1 at the time.

C. Sakara was never an IBF champion. He did fight for an IBF Youth Cruiserweight Title (whatever that is) and that was the one fight he lost.

I think both Sakara and Lister have bright futures.

I don't think that really holds water. Lister is pretty mediocre on his feet. There was an excellent chance of Sakara sprawl 'n' brawling his way to a finish. Wasn't Sakara a slight favorite at the sportsbooks?

Sakara will be back. He has a lot of telent and he just got beat by the better man.

I just hope they bring Sakara back! Hes got the skills to be the best! Lister is a beast and at the top of that division but Sakara belongs in the UFC!!!

I would like to see him against:

-Stephen Bonnar

-Forest

-Marvin Eastman

-Sam Hoger

-James Irvin

Any of the above would make for an exciting fight with Sakara. I think he could probably drop to 185 easily as well and dominate that division.

well other than against Lister though

I hope Sakara learns to stay with his strength which is his stand-up. He could have stood up after getting out of the omoplata, but decided to go back to guard, wtf????

Weren't people saying that he was a brown belt in BJJ? Not that it really matters against a guy of Lister's caliber, but is that true?

"Wasn't Sakara a slight favorite at the sportsbooks?"

No, Lister was at -174 by fight time. Best pick of the night.
