Hi all!!!
I will be in Tokyo, from the 8th to the 15th. Where can I train in Tokyo??? I am at the royal park hotel...1 mile from the airport....suggestions???
ttt
Ryan Bow teaches at Kaminari Dojo. Check out www.nuffsaidmma.com.
I've also heard Paraestra Tokyo is good to train at if you don't speak Japanese, as there are a few guys there who speak English. I've personally never been there, though...
thank you ryan! TTT
I sure hope you don't mean that you are 1 mile from Narita Airport. That would put you in the middle of nowhere, and you sure as hell would not be in Tokyo.
The only Royal Park Hotel I know is in Suitengu-mae.
hamu is correct. And as Ryan G said, forum member Ryan Bow runs Kaminari Dojo. Ryan is a damn good instructor, and one of the very few people who teach proper MMA classes here.
Tell us more what you looking for: mma/no gi/ gi / striking/...?
I don't know, but I can tell you where to tune in Tokyo.....
Thanks all......Looking for MMA, NO-GI mainly......TTT
Paraestra Matsudo might be the closest from where you are staying. There is nothing around the airport.
mma no gi, then WK is the way to go. Though it's at Ochanomizu station in Tokyo. Might be a bit of a treck. What's the closest station to you?
If you can speak some Japanese you can go to Takada dojo. Maybe you don't even need to be able to speak Japanese. I'm not sure I spoke in Japanese when I called. You can look it up on the internet and it's pretty easy to get there. The phone number is 03-5749-5030 If you want to call from the US you have to dail the country code for Japan first, I think that is 81. When I called there they said it was like about 40 dollars for 3 classes about 4000 yen
