dasquidge -RampageBySlamKO - Anderson Silva could. In fact, GSP would probably be in tears.
I doubt Anderson Silva would cut to 170
GSP vs BJ Penn II should be very interesting.
Didn't he beat Mach at 167?

i wasn't a fitch fan beforehand, but am now, he's one tough dude
impressive that he survived that long against that kind of beating. I hope it doesn't affect him long term, like when the Crow took a beating from Franklin. Sometimes people do not come back the same.
No one could. Fitch really is the Rich Franklin of the 170 division. He can beat anyone but the champ.
Most of those punches that floored Fitch would KTFO any other 170lber.
Remember, Fitch used to fight at 205 and is a huge tough guy at 170.
GSP is going to absolutely destroy any other 170lbers if he keeps fighting like that.
Hell, even his jab was looking BJesque. His standup just looked so much better than ever and added to his great wrestling and ground game and he looks like he'll dominate.
Who can touch him? He is going to tool BJ, he would DESTROY guys like Alves etc...
I am now three times the fan of Fitch than before the fight.
I can't wait to see him back in the octagon.
GSP will dominate Penn this time around, btw.
Fitch is just gonna get better
I was impressed with Fitch's desire to continue fighting. He made me a fan. GSP is just unreal.
classy comments guys.
ttt for Jon Fitch
Diego could have survived the onslaught and probably won a round or two.
ChokeEmOut - Baroni does not have the tools to deal with GSP. GSP is going to dominate for the next few years most likely. He is the future of the sport, a guy who is athletic and is damn good at every facet of MMA.

well, we've heard this before...and he promptly lost to serra. i do believe he has the potential to be dominant for a good run...but ill have to see him bring it like he did sat a few more before im convinced.
its not that i doubt his ability...its his consistency i question.
he deserved to be there.
I love Karo, but he would definitely need the paddles if he took Fitch three rounds.
TTT for FITCH
Yeah, I was very impressed with how Fitch kept going. You can often tell when a guy realizes that he's done, but Fitch just kept working, despite getting worked.
lol at diego surviving anything
GSP's only going to be better now that he's gone five rounds.
Fitch is amazingly tough. He never gave up. That stand reminded me of Oba Carr-Ike Quartey. Carr was getting beaten on the whole way but never quit, and went the distance.
Nobody could take that kind of punishment in many weight classes
Fitch may be the toughest guy in MMA. It's not just his heart/mental toughness but his ability to physically recover so quickly during rounds and in between rounds that impressed me so much. I was already a fan but I like him even more now.
