Who profited?

I'm wondering about the financial breakdown of the tv deal.
Did Zuffa pay Spike for the airtime, or vice versa, or have they split the profit from the sponsor's ads?

Surely the greatest positive impact will be felt in the large surge of fans that will pay for 52. But I would like to know just how much richer Zuffa is post-TUF, not including future returns on the investment.

Good points WaltJ. I'm curious as to how big a chunk of the advertising money they recieved.

I guess no one knows. Would like to see what Ivan Trembow says on the matter.

"Most of that probably went to SPIKEtv and MTV networks."

Spike is owned by MTV?!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Well if they got everyone's attention, they did their job imo.

Actually Spike,Mtv, along with CBS 2 and WOR 9 in New York are all owned by Viacom.

I agree

the watches, cars and bikes were given away as an advertising tool. they just kept repeating those brands. Now everyone wants one of those items mentioned above so they can be like a UFC fighter!!!!! /jk
