This guy was leg locking sort of just before the leg lock revolution and was touting himself as the best out there. Then he got leg locked in a match and seemed to fade away.
And he had some long convoluted story about how he got his black belt. He was given it, then told he had to pay a fee for it, then it was revoked, but he kept it anyway on principle.

Tabor actually had decent defense there for the time. Better than I expected from a fake black belt. Before people knew crossing your feet in DOA and gross ashi wouldn’t work forever. Leg lock defense was so gross back then
