Who were the Pride legends?

Sak
Igor
Big Nog
Crocop
Fedor
Vanderlei

IMO

Anyone else?

Henderson had 3 brutal KOs of 3 MMA legends in Pride (Bustamonte, Wanderlai, Renzo)That makes him a Pride legend

Ninja

Herring

Kerr

these too

Igor came to Pride as a legend.

Zulu

Pride legends were often UFC cans, excepting Fedor and Rampage.

UFC cans?

Nog was HW champ!

MATSUI!

Jack Skellington - Others as well that were not main eventers. Akira Shoji was the best example of this.

He fought everybody & win lose or draw, the crowd loved him
He was a PRIDE legend who fought a who's who of fighters like Mark Coleman, Dan Henderson, Paulo Filho, Dean Lister, Gilbert Yvel, Igor Vovchanchyn, Guy Mezger, Jeremy Horn, Ninja, Renzo Gracie, Ricardo Almeida, Semmy Schilt, Shogun etc ...

And how many of those guys actually finished Shoji?

Not many IIRC.

Coleman?

Archangel - Coleman?

I was wondering about that one myself.

Jack Skellington -
voorhees -
Archangel - Coleman?

what don't you get?

He fought Coleman at the PRIDE Grand Prix 2000 - Finals on 5/1/2000 & Coleman beat him by decision.

What?

Akira Shoji was the first name that popped into my head. Dajiro Matsui was a borderline Pride legend IMO.

PiousDevil -
voorhees -

What?

coleman is obviously his own worst enemy.

no doubt

Shoji was tough. I think Henderson was the first guy to finish him. Shoji went the distance with Igor V and Coleman before that. Henderson layed a bad beating on Shoji.

The Diet Butcher!

When I think Pride, the 5 names I think of first are Sakuraba, Vochanchyn, Wanderlei, Fedor, and Nogueira.
