I was going to head out for the weigh ins like I do for all fights I've been to, but screw it since they're doing it outside. 
NarlyPersianDude - I wonder what those of you who went to the live show thought of Overeem and Werdum.
How was it?
ABSOLUTELY EMBARRASSING! I was in Sec. 106, row F...which I won via Twitter. My date and I were completely in shock by Verdum's game plan and antics. My date has a fair amount of MMA knowledge and this was her FIRST live MMA event. She told me, "Verdum is a BB in Muay Thai? This should be a great fight." We were expecting an absolute war but got delivered THAT shit! I was completely embarrassed and she was pretty pissed. Overall, we had a great time at the event, the other fights were entertaining but we definitely felt cheated after the Verdum debacle.
Who's Verdum? I didn't see him fight last night...
