Scooter and DJ Ötzi had No. 1 hits in the UK; doesn´t mean they´re loved or even popular over there.

If an American doctor with political aspirations was also the best HW boxer of the last decade he would be the biggest sports star in the world due to our marketing. So why is it a surprise that their huge in the US? 
If the Klitschkos were two white Americans, they would be more popular than Tom Brady and Peyton Manning in the US.
Vladimir Klitschko is one of the hardest hitters I've ever seen, he makes little effort to go for the finish because I think he's aware that he's not the most durable of guys and doesn't want to get clipped being too aggressive. He still has a great number of KO's regardless. I mean, he hurts guys with pretty much every single punch that lands, he rocked Povetkin about 3 times with just his jab.

Explain the popularity of Manny Pacquiao. He's not a black athlete or even an American.
How about Gennady Golovkin? Not black either and can't even speak English that well. Yet he is widely respected and accepted by American fans as one of, if not THE, best middleweights in the world. And HBO is making him one of their featured stars.
Why do these guys have no problem drawing American viewers while the Klitschkos are death for tv ratings in the States?
