Southern Prince - He's got a family and lots of money. Calling his own shots now, albeit with a decreased quality of services.
Rogan unlike many true entrepreneurial stars, just gets lazy as money increases. Doesn’t really hustle anymore.
wouldn’t say he’s lazy. geezer is still pretty busy doing stuff, and doesn’t want to swap that for doing fuck-all on a plane, just so he can get somewhere and achieve the same thing he’s achieved many dozens of times before.
A trip over to the middle East during covid probably eats a ton of time out of his schedule.

You’ve made my point for me. People who are truly excited about providing services for their audience/clients WILL get on the plane (first- with bed) and go that extra mile. I fly first- around the world, and sit with many incredible entrepreneurs. They have common traits that Rogan does not.
Dude, he’s a podcasting comedian first and the ufc was always a lesser side gig to his comedy and acting in the past.
Did Elon and bezos have side jobs commentating in sports while making their fortunes?
His latest contract with the UFC which was signed long before the pandemic, stated only shows in America. If you ask him what he does for a living he’ll tell you he’s a comedian. Commentating was always something he did on the side. As extra income before he made it big, and for love of the sport, as he does genuinely enjoy mma. Traveling out of the country has hampered things for his comedy work, but mainly it would make his podcast a lot more difficult to do. And that’s by far his bread winner these days.
hankhill - I filmed a movie a year ago in ABU Dhabi. I was there for 6 weeks. Fuck that place. FaceTime and any other video communication is banned. You have to use their SIM card in your phone. It’s Ike Vegas but with Muslim rules. I wouldn’t go back if you offered 3x my pay. When the wheels of our plane actually left the tarmac we all cheered. Ask me anything.
I have really enjoyed my time in the Emirates. Lots of luxury for not too much money. A lot like Vegas without the gambling. The airport is also super well-connected, so you can get to a lot of wonderful locations without much money. However, during the pandemic, I have no interest in being there.
I've been there. Granted it was with the army but still, we got to go the mall and shit like that. I thought it was pretty nice actually. Looks a lot like Arizona imo.
mdavid01 - I understand the prince did good things for grappling back in the day, great, he went to college in san diego and grappled...basically just a rich, spoiled bjj guy whose daddy built a huge gym...
fuck sucking that oil rich dick, they want to push their bullshit on the rest of us, kill journalists, act the ass towards gays…fuck them and their backwards religion of bullshit.
Fuck anyone who thinks drawing a picture of their pedophile “prophet” deserves death…fuck them all.
LOL @ anyone claiming Joe is lazy. Successful comedian who actively goes on the road and works clubs (pre-covid lockdown…not sure how much he tours now), successful podcast which he regularly churns out, UFC commentator, Co-owner of ONNIT, actively works out and trains BJJ, dedicated family man, and avid hunter. He also stated he religiously practices with his bow.
Going to fight island is going to take away a minimum, a couple of days from his already crammed schedule. Add possibly 2 weeks on top of that if they’re quarantining people when they arrive. He’s old, has a family, a ton of fuck you money, and a lifestyle he enjoys – what’s the upside for him to go to fight island?
That said has anyone confirmed this is not due to a problem with his record that prevents him from getting travel visas and entry into other countries ?
It is more common than you may think.
He has shifty eyes and some body language patterns that make me think this could be possible.

So many guys are so butthurt that Joe has supposedly betrayed them and succumbed to the left, yet everyone on the far left refers to Joe Rogan as being being far right lol.
He can’t win, I mean, outside of his enormous popularity, success and bank account lol and I’m not even a fan.
williepep - As many others have stated it is not new.

where do you get that from? are you aware of any other times he wasn’t allowed to enter a country?

Rogan probably makes more in 2-3 podcasts than a week of having to fly out to fight island. Additionally, he said he was already stopping international UFC commentating well before COVID19 years ago. His podcast started picking up, he had put out 2 Netflix specials and allegedly, he’s also going to open up his own comedy club in Austin, TX in the new year once they figure out this whole COVID19 thing.
Flying doesn’t necessarily mean being more entrepreneurially excited.
I think we forgot he started out with his passion for comedy first (and Tae Kwon Do) before anything else and he’s still doing that.

I think you are confusing Dhubai wiht Saudi arabia.
When you make a million + a week, have a family, businesses, and been to more fights than almost any human, flying to the other side of the world isn’t worth it. It’s not like the money UFC pays him matters that much anymore. Even if it was $1m a card, it’s almost irrelevant as far as a motivating factor. He’s got fuck you money many times over at this point.
