At the end of tonight’s UFC broadcast, Cormier made a remark that it would be great to have Joe Rogan for Fight Island. Joe said something like “no way”…lol. Anyone have any idea why he does not want to go? One reason might be that cannabis is super illegal there and not worth the risk to bring smoke and/or oil.

I filmed a movie a year ago in ABU Dhabi. I was there for 6 weeks. Fuck that place. FaceTime and any other video communication is banned. You have to use their SIM card in your phone. It’s Ike Vegas but with Muslim rules. I wouldn’t go back if you offered 3x my pay. When the wheels of our plane actually left the tarmac we all cheered. Ask me anything.

I went to Abu Dhabi in 2013 and 2016, and thought it was awesome. Besides being hot as balls and construction everywhere, I barely even missed all the shit we have in the US. The malls and restaurants were very westernized and I don't recall ever having issues with video communication there.

You’ve made my point for me. People who are truly excited about providing services for their audience/clients WILL get on the plane (first- with bed) and go that extra mile. I fly first- around the world, and sit with many incredible entrepreneurs. They have common traits that Rogan does not.
