I answered his question. He has an Italian flag next to his picture on the "tale of the tape", because he was born in Italy. Same reason Aljamain Sterling and Uriah Hall have Jamaican flags, and Overeem has an English flag.

Yeah he told this story on UFC Unfiltered at some point, he recently met his dad and definitely is from Italy.
