lol, thats the first time I've heard of that. Still I've seen guys get hit adjusting their shorts, turning to the ref, and other stuff.
they shouldn't box cause 99.9% of them suck at it
my ex-gf was thinking of turning pro (back when we were together) so i started compiling tape of female boxers, and i've seen maybe 3 or 4 who would even be above average amateurs if they were guys, and that's out of hundreds of fights. its embarassing

actually I'm all for womens boxing, i've seen some fine female boxers who used to weight 250-300, and now they look fine

I don't know what is sadder, that the one girl got hit, or that her opponent didn't put her out with two free shots.
The girl in the cornrows was a boxing champ in the army. That was her pro debut. She was totally outclassing the other woman anyway.
3 of the females in my gym are Golden Gloves champs and guys who wouldnt even make it in mens amateurs can give them a run for their money. The skill difference between men and women is pretty dramatic but I'm all for em boxing.

Most women boxers I know hate the breast protectors... that's a good reason why.
