they are picking up a bunch of high level wrestlers but who are unproven in MMA
they will either A be boring as hell or B be very talented and leave immediately to a larger org
same with Braulio...his next 2 fights he wants are UFC guys after Hawn
so these orgs are just building their mma name for nada imo
Nothing wrong with making a name for finding talent. A league that is a major feeder is also quite likely to be acquired or make other deals for footage, and will draw more interest.
If nothing else, they will have a pretty damn valuable tape library five years from now. A lot of those guys are going to be absolute monsters.

why would someone go after exclusive deals with relatively cheap prospects that can attract attention, but need a couple years to develop experience for the big show....

they are getting coverage by usatoday etc
now the athlete himself is getting more coverage then the promotion
If they are going to be relevant in MMA they will be aquired by SF or UFC
think Damien Maia what was his first promotion? dunno but I know Damien Maia.....
They have good prospects now with alvarez neer Good lombard etc
bring vets in like shine fights is doing and you know youll get good fights imo
remember just my oppinion
if the athletes get promotion and attract attention, then people will look around to see their fights
