Why is MMA still so tiny?

I think ppv is the issue as already said.

It needs to be on free TV. They fucked up the fox deal by only do 4 a year and only a couple of them with an actual title fight on it and it was usually a shitty belt no one cared about like a Women’s belt or 125 or something besides the first big HW title fight.

The rules are broken. If Pride hadn’t lost their TV deal and continued to grow the sport of MMA would be substantially bigger than it is today.

The unified rules have really harmed the sports growth IMHO.

Imagine the sport of boxing if uppercuts and bodyshots were banned.

My real life attributes are not defined by an internet troll.

Grow up man, get some other hobbies.

It’s healthy.

The real limiting problem occurred when Blockbuster went away - no more VHS rentals.

Killed my interest.

It’s tough to say they have some similarities but a lot of differences, Conner and Ali

I don’t think it has the potential to get much bigger than it is.

If people want to watch now, they will. If they still want to watch violence, there’s years worth of it on Youtube, WorldStar and DailyMotion.
