kying418 -what gi brand do u use? knees always give first in my gis..RPBJJ - Dude... Use your gi for a while and it will be quite obvious.
I've trained fairly consistent since 2000- I've never had a pants wear out in the knees.
Maybe I'm not training hard enough?
I always wore the wrestling knee sleeves (gi and no go) but then i got the great idea i needed to toughen up my knees. I didn't wear knee pads for a 1 and no problems. Then this year i start incorporating more wresting and i get nerve damage in my knee. 6 months later and it has finally gone away. i'm going to be wearing the sleeves from now on.
