Pretty sure I read something a few months back that said ufc 3 would not be getting any new fighters anymore. I think they're working on the next one. That or it bombed so bad they pulled the cord.

This. The game is dead regarding any new big updates. There will only be minor fixes and gameplay twiches. As of April 2019 EA started developing UFC 4. Dont expect a new UFC game, with Volkanovski in it, until sometime late next year
