Why was Cote over Grove an upset?

I've been watching the ads on UFC90. Why did the feature on Cote say that his KO over Kendall Grove was an upset?

Educate me.

Clearly they're saying people stayed up late to watch the fight.

I seem to recall Grove being the UFC's rising star. It was almost as though Cote was being used to get him over. Listen to the lead-up and the play by play. Cote put an end to that though!

I think you're right Joe. Kendall, like all the TUF guys are usually put immediately on the favored list.
