I watched a bit of the pre-fight presser, I don't know if he wasn't trash talking, but he was lying like shit.
At one point he said he "cleaned out the LW division".
What?!? He was 1-1 at LW; he won the title against Alvarez and never defended it... Then didn't fight for 2 years and got smashed by Khabib. How in the fuck is that 'cleaning out' a division? I stopped watching after that.
I saw an interesting point of view on a mixed Molly whoppery video and he thinks Conor picked cerone because he's unlikely to trash talk which suits Conor in this case because he's trying to keep a lid on the things that have been going on over the last couple of years.

Oh hell yeah I'm sure he will again. But even before the Khabib bout he had toned it down. Even for that infamous one, he said a lot of bad stuff and created bad blood and tons of press, but he wasn't physically everywhere promoting as in the past.
